Ashe Converting Equipment was established in 1978 as a drive and control supplier and is now a leading supplier of slitting and rewinding machinery. During this time, the company have obtained a vast experience in handling most substrates and now have an extensive machinery range.

With over 1200 machines installed throughout the world, the company’s portfolio of machines now range from a minimum width of 200mm (8”), up to a maximum of 8.7m (343”) and all machines are packed with innovative technology and features.

The company’s headquarters are in Ipswich, UK with subsidiaries for sales and service in USA and China.

ASHE pride themselves in being different to most machine builders in that 90% of machine parts for the machine being quoted are machined in house. With an extensive range of mills, lathes and CNC machine tools, we are able to manufacture standard machinery to our own engineered drawings, along with tailor made slitting machines.

All software is also written by our own team of software engineers enabling us to offer full support for our machines installed throughout the world, along with a team of service engineers who travel the globe.
